La localidad de La Candelaria se encuentra ubicada en el centro de Bogotá, capital de Colombia, y constituye el centro histórico de la ciudad considerado patrimonio y bien cultural según la Ley 59 de 1963. En este documento se presenta un mapa cultural de esta zona por medio de un análisis del paisaje urbano, del centro histórico, de los usos sociales del espacio, así como del patrimonio inmaterial que representa esta área para la ciudad y la nación.La Candelaria town is located in downtown Bogota, capital of Colombia, and it is the historic center of the city considered heritage and cultural property according to Law No 59 of 1963. This document presents a cultural map of this area by means of an analysis of the urban landscape, of the historic center, of the social applications of space, as well as the intangible heritage that this area represents for the city and the nation.
