La Industria Met?lica Josan S.A.S es una empresa dedicada a la fabricaci?n de diferentes productos y servicios en el ?mbito metalmec?nico; en la actualidad las industrias encuentran en su camino retos que necesitan superar para ser competitivos y crecer en los mercados cada vez m?s globalizados, esto los lleva a reevaluar la organizaci?n de la compa??a y enfocarse en el mejoramiento de la producci?n. Con este proyecto se busc? orientar a la empresa hacia la implementaci?n de herramientas de ingenier?a industrial c?mo la filosof?a del Lean Manufacturing, enfoc?ndose en los procesos en los que se evidenciaron desperdicios, demoras, transportes o movimientos innecesarios, entre otras oportunidades de mejora.
Para el desarrollo del proyecto fue primordial el estudio del entorno productivo y realizar un diagn?stico del ?rea de producci?n para identificar todos los desperdicios y falencias presentes en los equipos y ?reas de trabajo de modo que fuese posible desarrollar un plan de mejora que logre establecer una organizaci?n efectiva del espacio de trabajo en el manejo de las materias primas y los desperdicios, adem?s, aplicar herramientas de capacitaci?n que permitan el afianzamiento de los conceptos y las metodolog?as para la mejora continua, con el fin alcanzar la optimizaci?n de los procesos de la empresa. The Josan metal industry is a company dedicated to the manufacture of different products and services in the metalworking field; today, industries find challenges that they need to overcome in order to be competitive and grow in increasingly globalized markets, which leads them to re-evaluate the organization of the company and focus on improving production. This project sought to orient the company towards the implementation of industrial engineering tools, such as the philosophy of Lean Manufacturing, focusing on the processes in which waste, delays, transport or movements were evident. Unnecessary, among other opportunities for improvement.
For the development of the project was paramount the study of the productive environment and to make a diagnosis of the area of production to identify all the waste and flaws present in the equipment and area s of work so that it was possible to develop a plan of improvement that manages to establish an effective organization of the work space in the handling of the raw materials and the wastes, in addition, to implement training tools that allow the reinforcement of the concepts and the methodologies for the continuous improvement , in order to achieve the optimization of the company's processes.
Every company is susceptible to improvement, especially those of the industrial sector, for this reason, by means of the application of tools of industrial engineering and Lean Manufacturing, like 5 ' S, distribution in plant, analysis of cause-effect, advised and support to the Metal industry Josan, who provided the information and permits for the periodic visit to the facilities, which allowed to identify the flaws in the productive area s, with the purpose of this investigation to achieve the degree of observation necessary to carry out the analysis both quantitative and qualitative, generating a proposal focused on the effective management of the material, technological, economic and human resources present in the company.
The management of these resources are essential to implement improvements aimed at improving quality, productivity, supply, reduction of waste and utilization, which are the basis of this research so that In evaluating them allow the correct development of the project and which met the needs present in the metal industry Josan to increase their competitiveness and profits.
