dc.descriptionEste proyecto tuvo como objeto determinar la eficiencia de cinco materiales de malla que pueden ser implementados en un sistema de atrapanieblas, instalado en el Municipio de Siachoque ? Boyac?. Se dise??, construy? y puso a prueba un sistema de atrapaniebla bidimensional con cinco materiales de malla: Tela Quir?rgica, Guata, Costal de Fique, Velo o Tul y Polisombra Raschel. Se realizaron 42 mediciones de volumen de agua captada durante 4 meses para cada material utilizado. Se prob? y compar? la eficiencia de materiales para captar agua, de f?cil consecuci?n en entornos rurales; as? mismo se obtuvo una relaci?n de beneficio costo de cada uno de los tratamientos utilizados. Se ratifica que la polisombra es el material que logra mayor captaci?n de agua y resulta m?s econ?mico al momento de implementar un sistema de atrapanieblas; la tela quir?rgica se constituye una alternativa de buen nivel de captaci?n, aunque poca durabilidad.
dc.descriptionThe objective of this project was to determine the efficiency of five types of net that can be implemented in a catch-fog system, installed in the municipality of Siachoque, Boyac?. A two-dimensional catch-fog system was designed, built, and tested with five types of net: surgical fabric, guata, costal de fique, velo or tul, and polysombra raschel. 42 measurements of water volume were collected during 4 months for each material. The efficiency of the materials for capturing water, which was easily achieved in rural settings, was tested and compared; likewise a cost-benefit relation was obtained for each of the treatments used. It was confirmed that the polysombra is the best material for catching water and it was the most cheap at the time of implementing the catch-fog system; the surgical fabric is an alternative for a good level of uptake, despite its low durability.Key words: mistletoe, water collection, Surgical Fabric, Wadding, Costal de Fique, Velo, Polisombra Raschel
